HYAA COVID Guidelines
Temperatures must be checked before each game/practice. Temp must be below 100.4
The health check questionnaire must be complete before each game/practice. This must be filled out within 8 hours of the scheduled event. To
complete this, parents must use the TeamSnap app (appears unavailable from the TeamSnap website). Click on the current game and at the bottom it will have a
link to Health Check. Coaches will be responsible to ensure all have completed this.
Game times need to be staggered to give teams the opportunity to safely arrive at the field after the previous teams have departed.
There will be no coin toss, the away team will get the first kick off.
Individuals on the sidelines:
-Must maintain Social Distancing at all times. Each player and their equipment at least six (6)
feet from the next player.
-Should wear masks but not required if social distancing is respected -Not share water bottles or other items between
nonfamily members -On the field of play masks may be worn but are not required.
-Game balls are to be sanitized prior to the game, at half time and at
the end of the match.
-No contact after matches to include hand shakes, high fives, etc.
Spectators:

The HYAA organization has moved to a TeamSnap registration process. TeamSnap is an online and mobile-enabled sports team management
application that allows our league, coaches and parents a more efficient means of communicating schedules and team events. If you do not have a TeamSnap
account, you will be asked to create one as you register (requires an email address and password). Please register using the online form found on our
website’s soccer page (www.hyaa.org). EVERYONE MUST CREATE A FAMILY ACCOUNT and register your child(ren) on TeamSnap. All registrations require a credit
card payment at the time of registration.
HYAA IS NOT AN AFFILIATE OF THE HOLMDEL BOARD OF EDUCATION
Be prepared for the upcoming Fall Soccer season with the right equipment.
HYAA provides a uniform jersey and socks.
HYAA is looking for student volunteers (grades 6-12) for community service hours to help coaches with practices and/or games. Students can choose when
they want to attend.
